The Dawn of Eurasia

'The Dawn of Eurasia'

The goals of the Friends of MacDonald foundation are to promote and stimulate insight in the way Asia, Europe and North America interact and honours the work produced on this topic. We joined Martine Hauwert in a special Let's Talk Business!

This year author Bruno Maçães will receive the award for his book 'The Dawn of Eurasia'. In the book Maçães describes his travels across Russia and Asia! Does the rise of Eurasia herald a new world order and which business opportunities lay between Europe and Asia? Maçães, former Secretary of State for European Affairs in Portugal, explores the transformations originated by the return of the Silk Road.

Martine Hauwert hosted this special Let's Talk Business from a very unique location, namely the three-master Admiraal van Kinsbergen in the harbour of Amsterdam.

In Let's Talk Business we not only talk about business, but also about the personal vision and ambitions of our main guests. We'll take a look back in time, personal experiences are being shared and speculate about developments in the near future.

All this in one hour of radio, with good music and under the enthusiastic supervision of hosts Koen Bugter, Fabienne de Vries, Ron Lemmens, Folkert Tempelman, Robert Denneman and Rick van Velthuysen.
